The Power of Partnership: How Brokers and Sales Associates Create the Perfect Homebuyer Experience

In today's competitive real estate market, delivering a seamless and rewarding journey for new home seekers requires collaboration and expertise. At True Homes, the synergy between brokers and dedicated new construction sales associates is brought to life through the True Homes CORE Broker Program—a unique initiative that strengthens connections and builds trust between True Homes, real estate professionals, and homebuyers.

This article offers insights from Lauren Hemingway, a True Sales Partner with the Raleigh True Homes Team, and her CORE broker, Taylor Oldham, with Choice Residential, on how the program enhances their business and supports homebuyers at every step of the process. Their shared experiences reveal how this partnership transforms the homebuying journey from a transactional process into a truly collaborative endeavor.

The CORE Broker Program: A Gateway to Success in New Home Construction

The CORE Broker Program fosters mutually beneficial relationships between brokers and True Homes, streamlining the homebuying process and providing brokers with exclusive tools and support to elevate their service offerings. Through the program, brokers gain access to real-time inventory updates, marketing materials, and priority services for their clients, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.

For brokers in new home construction, joining the CORE Broker Program offers a significant edge in delivering exceptional service. True Sales Partners like Lauren, who has been with True Homes for several years, play a pivotal role in building trust and facilitating collaboration with brokers. "The CORE Broker Program has made it easier to build trust with brokers, allowing us to collaborate seamlessly and meet homebuyers' exact needs," Lauren explains.

Working Together for a Superior Homebuyer Experience

At True Homes, brokers and sales associates partner on a shared mission: creating an exceptional experience in new home construction. Lauren and Taylor’s teamwork exemplifies how this collaboration enables them to serve homebuyers efficiently and with genuine care. "If you want to do an open house or a first-time homebuyer seminar, I have a budget to help with food, flyers, and more. I want to help you succeed in your business because that's how we both succeed," Lauren explains.

Their coordinated efforts mean that every aspect of the homebuying journey—from selecting a prime lot to refining custom design choices—receives personalized attention. "True Homes is so broker-focused and broker-friendly. We are the only builder I know of that prioritizes brokers in this way, allowing us to build partnerships that last," Lauren adds. Taylor echoes this sentiment, sharing, "The whole process with True Homes is streamlined because of the trust and familiarity I have with Lauren. I know what I will get, and that makes everything easier."

Broker-to-Broker: Advice for Success in New Home Construction

For brokers considering a partnership with True Homes, Lauren and Taylor emphasize the importance of communication and relationship-building. Lauren suggests, "Don't hesitate to ask questions and build strong relationships with the sales associates. True Homes provides excellent support to brokers, but connecting with the team on the ground is essential for creating the best possible experience for your clients." This advice underscores the value of True Homes' supportive framework, empowering brokers to guide their clients through the homebuying journey confidently.

Taylor reinforces this approach, highlighting how critical open and consistent communication is to a smooth experience. "Stay in close contact with your sales associate. We're here to make your job easier. When we work as a team, the homebuyer benefits," she notes, emphasizing that a strong broker-sales associate relationship can greatly impact client satisfaction.

It's not just about buying a house—you're designing your home."

These exclusive opportunities can include early access to new listings, private tours of model homes, and invitations to community events, among other benefits. The partnership offers unique advantages, making homebuyers feel truly supported in their journey.

Charlotte, NC (March 27, 2025) — True Homes is honored to partner with Lowe’s , Appalachian Service Project (ASP) , Kelly McArdle Construction , the Home Builders Association of Greater Charlotte , and a network of dedicated collaborators to support recovery efforts in rural Western North Carolina. This initiative aims to help rebuild homes and restore hope for communities still recovering from the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene. As part of Lowe’s unwavering commitment to helping communities in need, the company has announced a $2 million investment specifically to support rebuilding efforts in Western North Carolina. This brings Lowe’s total contribution to recovery efforts in the wake of Hurricanes Helene and Milton to $14 million. Read Lowe's Press Release here → Six months after Hurricane Helene made landfall, the need remains. While progress continues in these resilient mountain communities, many families still face enormous challenges. That’s why this initiative matters so deeply. Through our True Foundation, True Homes is proud to support the construction of 20 temporary tiny homes—each one an essential sanctuary for individuals and families navigating tremendous loss. These thoughtfully designed homes offer not only shelter but dignity, comfort, and connection during the long road to recovery. Each tiny home measures 8 feet by 16 feet, is permanently mounted on wheels and can accommodate three to four individuals. They include a kitchen, bathroom, and two full-size beds, along with a curated selection of furnishings and décor—lamps, curtains, bedding, towels, and decorative accents—selected by Lowe’s design team. In addition, each home will be delivered with fresh greenery specially chosen to brighten the small space. The homes will be delivered, installed, and connected to electricity on each recipient’s homesite—allowing individuals and families to stay in their neighborhood and on their land while their permanent home is being rebuilt. “This partnership represents the heart of what we do,” said John Bain, Executive Partner of Supply Chain at True Homes. “Our valued Trade Partners and volunteers are showing up with both their hearts and their hands—constructing these units in a warehouse facility generously donated in uptown Charlotte. Together with ASP, we’re working to deliver them to rural Western North Carolina, where they’re needed most. We can’t even begin to express the gratitude we feel for everyone contributing to the success of this build.” With over 50 volunteers already signed up, the outpouring of support has been a powerful expression of our shared commitment to people and place. The homes are being built in a warehouse generously donated in Uptown Charlotte, and ASP will lead the delivery of these units to areas most in need. At True Homes, we are deeply humbled to be part of this life-changing effort—and remain committed to making More Life possible for every individual and every community we serve.

At True Homes, we believe that a home is more than just a place to live—it’s the starting point for More Life. It’s where memories are made, dreams take root, and communities grow. That’s why we’re excited to announce our Associate Partnership with Charlotte Football Club (Charlotte FC) —a collaboration that reflects our deep commitment to people, community, and connection. Teaming Up to Inspire More Life Charlotte FC is more than just a soccer team—it’s a movement that brings people together from all walks of life, rallying around the love of the game and pride in our communities. A Shared Vision for Stronger Communities At True Homes, we don’t just build houses—we build possibilities. And that means investing in the communities we serve, on and off the field. Together, we’re empowering individuals and families to dream bigger, live fuller, and connect deeper—because when we unite as neighbors, as fans, and as friends, everybody wins.
