True Gives Back

"To provide the opportunity for more life within the communities we serve."

True Homes Foundation

True Homes is committed to making a positive impact in the communities that we serve. Our desire is to be a company that our communities want to exist. The themes of this impact statement include empowering our associates to amplify their impact, partnering with community organizations to deliver affordable housing solutions, and creating pathways for vocational opportunity in home building.

Associate Empowerment

True Homes empowers every associate to support their local community through monetary donations to charitable organizations of their choosing. True Foundation amplifies their impact by matching every gift four times over, up to $1,000 annually.

During 2024, over
150 local charities were supported by True Homes associates, who gave $32,943 in donations. This was matched with $164,716 by the True Foundation, giving a combined impact of $197,659 to charitable organizations that matter to our associates.

$197k

in donations were made in 2024 to charitable organizations that matter to our associates.

Doorway to Prosperity

Through our Doorway to Prosperity program, we offer affordable home opportunities to households with an area median income of less than 110% with a priority focus on those at 80% and below.

This program utilizes down payment assistance offered through community and lending partnerships combined with True Homes commitment to build at price points that rarely exist. This initiative allows more families to cross the threshold of homeownership and build generational wealth.

Since 2022, True Homes has provided 94 Doorway to Prosperity homes and over 100 more are currently under development for 2025.

The Scott Wentz Scholarship

The Scott Wentz Scholarship exists to advance opportunities for minorities and/or women in the residential construction and land development industry. The scholarship is available to minority and/or women Construction Management students focusing on residential construction.

In 2024, $100,000 in scholarships were awarded to students who are attending UNC Charlotte, Appalachian State University, and NC A&T University.
